I was born and grew up in the 'Black Country', went to college in Weymouth and moved back to the 'Black Country', before I ran away to sea.

I have had many professions, Baker, Book Seller, Sailor, Engineer, and Artist.

I seem to have not only taken the road less travelled, but also the one with the most obstacles, either by accident or design. I believe satisfaction in life comes not from the accumulation of wealth, but from the overcoming of those obstacles.

I have been a working artist for the last 12 years, selling mainly on eBay, and have had over 300 sales.

I have a large number of interests that include art, opera, music, science, history, cosmology, engineering, geography, poetry and literature, and anthropology. (I often wonder why people do the things they do)
